Terms of Covenant
Last Ritual Update: Cycle 2024.12.01
I. The Sacred Bond
By stepping into the threshold of the ELDRITCH ARCHIVE, you signify your assent to this ancient covenant. This agreement constitutes a binding legal pact between the mortal user and the Keepers of the Archive.
We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to manifest our digital relics for your personal storytelling and tactical maneuvers. You shall not attempt to reverse-engineer the arcane geometries that power this sanctum, nor shall you claim the eldritch properties as your own creation.
Access to certain restricted vaults of the Archive may require a digital signature, ensuring your identity is anchored within our database for the duration of your residency.
II. Tributes & Offerings
Certain legendary items and advanced scrying tools require a tribute in the form of currency. All offerings are finalized upon the ritual of transaction. Once the gold has left your pouch, the Archive considers the tribute accepted and the relic bound to your soul.
- token Subscription Seals: Recurring tributes for continuous access to the Inner Sanctum. Failure to provide tribute will result in the immediate fading of your access.
- token Trial Rites: We may offer temporary passage into the Archive at no cost. Upon the conclusion of this trial, your soul remains in the Archive, but your access will be barred until tribute is rendered.
III. The Code of the Archive
The Archive is a shared space for all wanderers. You are strictly forbidden from unleashing malicious incantations (viruses), attempting to breach the vault walls (hacking), or harassing other scribes within the community forums.
We reserve the right to banish any soul from the Archive, without warning, should they violate this code of conduct. Banishment is permanent and will result in the total dissolution of all digital assets associated with the exiled party.
IV. Shadows & Echoes
The ELDRITCH ARCHIVE is provided "As Is" and "As Available." We make no guarantees that the magical portals will never falter, nor that the scrolls will always be legible. We are not liable for any lost loot, failed campaigns, or psychic damage resulting from the use of our scrying tools.
In no event shall the Keepers of the Archive be held responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential shadows that may haunt your experience. Your use of this Archive is at your own mortal peril.
